Notes from the Log: Day 5

Day 5:

Terrible night last night. Wind increased at dusk, must have been over 30 knots, large sea running from the south, with westerly chop. I slept in fits, I thought Maiwar might capsize, in hindsight, probably unlikely. Made 41 miles the previous day! Awoke to a massive pack of dolphins heading for the boat. Deep sea fish made its way into the cockpit last night. Very difficult/frustrating rowing all day due to inexplicable southwest chop. Impossible to find a good rhythm when rowing in a washing machine. Thoughts as scattered as the sea-state. Saw two fishing boats. Still gray and cold all day.

Made 45 miles.
